How did you get into teaching and when?

I got into swimming teaching as a result of seeing my Son (when a baby) attending swimming classes, loving the water, having so much fund and most importantly learning a LIFE SKILL. I completed my ASA level 1 course and NPLQ in 2017 and gained some experience before completing my level 2 course. This was where my swimming teacher journey began!

What is your favourite part of teaching?

My favourite part is teaching a wide variety of ages, abilities and personalities from child beginners to adults competing in Triathlons and from those who are nervous in the water to those who are confident. The fun and laughter makes it such a fun experience. And Finally... I love seeing the progress swimmers make as a result of their hard work.

A fun fact about myself

I completely changed my career from the Head of Marketing for an IT company in London to becoming a swimming teacher. It was a bit of a change but an amazing decision.
